Suspension Services:
In spite of what some riders or YouTubers might have you believe, the recommendation that you service your suspension regularly isn’t a ploy to separate you from your hard earned dollars. Rather it is a super easy way to extend the life of your fork or shock. Regular maintenance will prevent you from shelling out more money to replace parts that break or wear out, due to the lack of service. Do you need to stop everything and rush straight to Ascent Cycling at those service intervals? No, however, you should not ignore it for too long or completely forget about them. Preventative maintenance goes a long way to make sure you are not trashing your investment.
Service Intervals:
These regular service intervals are recommended by the various manufacturers of the suspension components on all modern mountain bikes. These recommendations are very similar to the service interval recommendations of your vehicles. These recommendations are designed to avoid larger repair costs incurred for a total failure of the component, as well as maintaining the optimum performance of these sophisticated mechanical components. Here at Ascent Cycling, we employ honest, industry trained technicians with current certifications to professionally maintain your cycling investment for years to come.
