Ascent Cycling was thrilled to be apart of this amazing community event in 2011 and 2012. Honoring our local heroes and supporting the non-profits that benefited from the Patriots Festival and Ride For Heroes was an extreme honor.

The Best Christmas Ever is a program that has allowed us to put our bike building skills to work to give kids the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas. As bike lovers we know what it feels like to wake up Christmas morning and see a bike waiting under the Christmas tree.

Urban Peak is an amazing program dedicated to helping youth in our community over come homelessness or the potential of becoming homeless. Through giving this program will instill confidence in our youth and provide active positive participants in our community!

Colorado Springs Teen Court is another local non-profit that is dedicated to at risk youth in our community. Through positive peer pressure youth who are first time offenders have the opportunity to change the direction of their lives and start new through the many programs provided through Teen Court.

As former Boy Scouts we love to have local units come into the shop and be awarded their badges. We have enjoyed hosting shop classes for our up and coming troops.

Ascent Cycling was fortunate enough to be apart of a program that helps kids from the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind build on the job training to prepare them for real world job skills. It was a privilege to be apart of and we hope that our efforts provided our student proper skills.

As Bike enthusiasts we are also dedicated in making sure local bike events are well supported. Ascent Cycling dedicates time and funds to many bike races and events across Colorado. What can we say; it gives us more of an excuse to be out riding!
