At Ascent Cycling, we’ve done this literally and figuratively with our latest move by bringing Pivot into the fold! Pivot joins Trek and Rocky Mountain in creating what we believe to be a lineup capable of meeting the wishes and adventures of every rider who comes through our front door.
Though the brand has only been around since 2007, the man behind Pivot, founder Chris Cocalis, traces his history in mountain biking to the early days of the sport. He previously built up boutique brand Titus in the late 1980s and early 1990s, offering drool-worthy titanium and aluminum framesets as complete builds or blank canvases to well-heeled buyers. The bikes were renowned for their quality, durability, and clean lines.
With Pivot, nothing much has changed; Cocalis and Co. provide phenomenal carbon and aluminum bikes and frames to the dreamers among us looking for the ultimate two-wheeled experience. The Arizona company prides itself on reliability and durability, offering 10-year warranties on their carbon frames: they want you to ride hard, with peace of mind that your investment is covered.
